Kerry Ann Morgan is a lover of words, (cheap) wine, and wit. After earning a degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, she tried her hand as a bridal salon manager, lingerie fitter, social worker, and pirate before returning to her roots as a writer.
Her writing has been featured in various publications (such as NPR.org) and is included in the book Three Minus One released in April 2014. She’s currently querying her women’s fiction novel THE LAST RESORT. Though she thoroughly enjoys her job at the local library, she’s often busted scribbling character sketches and plot lines for her next endeavor while deep in the stacks.
She can usually be found with a book or a pencil in her hands. She fancies everything from Chick Lit to Thrillers and is a sucker for food/decorating porn. She admits to suffering a minor panic attack once when she couldn’t find any books to read in her house. (Now that she works at a library, this is no longer an issue.) A founding member of the She Reads Book Blogger Network, Kerry Ann reviews books on her blog and occasionally contributes with the snarky ladies at BookshelfBombshells.com.
When not occupied with any of the above, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen, testing out her new kayak, or rummaging through thrift stores to fill her already overstuffed closet. Kerry Ann lives with her husband, son, and two demanding cats in Florida, where they avoid the tourists and dream of their next family adventure.
